Escrow-backed payments
Every order is paid upfront and held in escrow by Stripe. Funds are only released to the freelancer after the buyer approves the delivery — or after our team resolves a dispute.
Verified identities
Freelancers connect a Stripe account, which performs identity verification (KYC), tax reporting, and payout compliance. Suspicious accounts are removed.
Fraud prevention
We monitor for chargeback fraud, fake reviews, and off-platform payment attempts. Keeping communication and payment on Threelio is the only way you're protected.
Reporting
Anyone can report a gig, message, or profile. Every report is reviewed by our trust team, usually within 24 hours.
Fair dispute resolution
If a delivery doesn't match what was promised, either party can open a dispute. A human reviewer evaluates the evidence and decides — no black-box algorithms.
Refunds
Refunds are issued via Stripe. If a dispute is resolved in the buyer's favor, funds are returned to the original payment method.
Account protection
Use a strong password, keep your email secure, and never share your Threelio credentials. Suspended accounts lose access to funds and disputes — do not create secondary accounts.
